Full details for Thomas Hardy
Formerly Eldridge Pope. Founded 1837, renamed 1998 when a management buyout resulted in the Eldridge Pope name being exclusively used for pubs. In 2001, the contract to brew the old Eldridge Pope beers under license was closed. The future of the brewery doesn't look good.

The brewery was closed in mid-2003 and all production transferred to Burtonwood.
