Founded 1874. Victory Ale celebrates the company's survival as an independent brewery. Specialises in a wide range of seasonal beers.
It is understood that beers under the "JW Horrey" name are produced on a small brew-plant within the brewery.
The first edition of the Good Beer Guide reported Bateman's as 'Generally excellent.'
